Time Out

Ingredients:

6 bars of 200g tesco chocolate
4 pack of flakes
Askeys ice cream cornets (crushed)

Ingredients laid out: a box of ice cream cornets, Flake multipack and Tesco chocolate bars

So me (Martin) and my mate Dave wondered what on earth we could pimp. then we noticed no one has done a timeout bar, Its approx 24x heavier than a normal timeout bar. so here it is. its our first pimp, and we think we did ok. For our next pimp we’re going bigger and better.

1. Melt the chocolate and pour the base in.

Melted chocolate poured into a foil-lined loaf tin to set as the base layer

2. Add the ice cream cones, crushed, to make the wafer layer.

Crushed wafer cornet pieces packed into the lined tin, wrapped Flakes waiting alongside

3. Add the 4 flakes on top.

Flake bars laid side by side in rows across the wafer layer in the tin

4. Layer with even more melted chocolate.

A final layer of melted chocolate poured over the Flakes, sealing the top

5. Allow to cool for a few hours in the fridge.

The set chocolate slab turned out onto the upturned tin, a normal Time Out bar beside it

6. Cut up and enjoy.

Cut open on a board showing crumbly Flake and wafer filling, real bar in front
