Colossus Chocolate Cornflake

Stage 1

Ingredients:

600g Milk Chocolate Cake Covering
750g Cornflakes

Two large bags of cornflakes and five boxes of milk chocolate for home baking

Stage 2

In a bowl mix cornflakes with water

A blue bowl of cornflakes next to a glass of water, ready to mix

Stage 3

Let the water soak and fuse the cornflakes in your
hand to form a Colossus Cornflake

A single oversized cornflake formed by fusing damp cornflakes together, on a green mat

Stage 4

Repeat until boredom sets in and leave overnight to
dry out

Dozens of the fused giant cornflakes drying on plates and trays across the table

Stage 5

Melt some chocolate

Stage 6

Mix in the Colossus Cornflake and leave to one side

The oversized cornflakes being stirred into a bowl of melted chocolate with a wooden spoon

Stage 7

Make the case using a paper bowl as the base and
concertina paper for the border

A giant cake case folded by hand from white paper, sitting on a wooden floor

Stage 8

Pour the Colossus Choclate Cornflake into the case

The finished chocolate cornflake cake in its paper case, beside a normal one for scale
