Ingredients:

800g butter
800g plain chocolate
200g milk chocolate
12 medium eggs
1kg sugar
450g sieved plain flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbs baking powder

Some goodies to put in and decorate the brownies with: I used mars bars, marshmallows, fudge sticks, caramel, mint and popping candy bars to give an explosion of taste.

Estimated cost £12 upwards (depending on what ingredients you want to put in your brownie!)

Step 1: Melt 800g butter and 800g plain chocolate together

Step 2: Beat 12 medium eggs and 1kg sugar together until pale in colour and light in texture – about 8 mins using an electric whisk should give you a real nice cracked flaky brownie top once cooked

Step 3: Pour butter/chocolate mix into the egg/sugar mix and fold until blended. Add in 450g sieved plain flour, 2 tsp salt, 2 tsp vanilla essence, 2 tbs baking powder and the goodies you want to pack the brownie with. (This is where I had to divide the vast amount of mixture into two bowls as I didn’t have one huge bowl that was big enough)

Step 4: Line baking trays with greaseproof paper, pour in mixture and cook for about an hour on 160. Once cooked, remove from oven and leave to cool. (I had to lay some foil over the top half way through cooking to stop the brownie burning!)

Step 5: Melt 100g of milk chocolate with a handful of marshmallows and several fudge bars to make gooey mix to stick two halves of brownie together.

Step 6: Spread edible gloop onto one of the brownies and place the other one on top (I assure you the smell and taste is much better than it looks!)

Step 7: Melt remaining 100g of milk chocolate and use to stick remaining goodies on top of the uber brownie. Drizzle last few drops of chocolate over brownie

Step 8: Make a lovely cuppa, relax and enjoy! Delicious hot or cold.
