Pimp That Snack

Big Bopper Burger

Ingredients:

5 lbs of meat (Approx: 2267 grams of meat)
Mustard
7 slices of cheese
7 whole pickles
1 huge roll to fit this glorious burger.

Approx cost: 10 US dollars

Ingredients on a kitchen table: five pounds of minced beef, pickles, mustard, cheese and a dough bag

This being my 2nd pimp for this site and also knowing that there are 2 or 3 other burgers on here I began to look an notice that all the others only use about a pound to a pound an half of meat. So I figured why not show what 5 lbs of meat (2267 grams) looks like.

First I began with turning the massive amount of meat into a huge patty then seasoning it with garlic powder and some salt and pepper. From the pictures you can see that that is a 12inch pizza pan used an it nearly covers the whole thing!..From there I set the oven too 350 degrees and let this mammoth burger cook for about and hour and a half before taking it out of the oven. One thing is for sure is do not cook this at that temperture it seemed like it took forever to cook so up it to about 400 degrees to reduce cooking time.

Five pounds of raw minced beef shaped into one giant patty on a pizza pan

As that was cooking I began making the bun with all the condiments on it. Me being a simple person I only used mustard and pickels but you can use whatever you want to your liking.

AT LAST!!! the burger was cooked I took it out of the oven and had to dump some of the burned off fat into the sink because if not it would have over flowed the pan. After doing so I put not one, not two, BUT 7 glorious slices of white american cheese on top of this burger and put it back in the oven for an additional 2 minutes to let the cheese melt.

The giant patty browned and split after cooking, sitting in its own juices on the pan

Cheese slices laid overlapping across the cooked patty to melt in the pan

After taking that out of the oven and my mouth watering non-stop for that hour and half the final product is show below….

The assembled burger on a plate, a whole round loaf serving as the bun with pickles

Held up in one hand and cut open, showing the thick beef patty inside the loaf bun

After eating just 1/4 of this burger I decided to do the math for what the whole thing and see what I was eating….

Total Calories : 22384.4 calories
Total Fat: 1768.28 grams
Cholestrol: 6133.8 grams
Protein: 1459.84 grams

At the end I ended up eating half of this burger and giving the rest to my friends.
