Perfect Party Ring

400g plain flour
180g softened butter
2 eggs
100g caster sugar
lots of icing sugar
pink and yellow food colouring

Step 1:
Cream the butter and the sugar together. Then mix in the egg after beating it.

Step 2:
Fold in the flour and mix it into a dough.

Step 3:
Roll the dough into a long shape and attatch the two ends to make a circle. Flatten the circle out and mark the biscuit carefull with diagonal lines. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.

Step 4:
Leave the biscuit to cool for 30 minutes.

Step 5:
Mix two amounts of icing sugar with the food colourings and cover the cooled biscuit with the pink icing.

Step 6:
Drip the yellow icing in lines across the party ring.

Step 7:
Leave the icing to set on the party ring... then eat!
