Pimp That Snack

Giant Dolly Mixture

Time taken to create pimp: 2 hours

Ingredients needed: 1.5kg of fondant icing sugar, red food
dye and water

Firstly we gathered our ingredients and equipment

Two boxes of fondant icing sugar, red food dye, rolling pin and glass bowl beside a stand mixer

We then sieved all the icing sugar to get rid of all the
lumpy bits. This took ages!

The icing sugar was put into the mixer with a small amount
of water. After mess was made, and a long time of mixing,
part of the icing was ready to be rolled. This was used as
the white centre part of the dolly mixture.

Working the fondant by hand on a floured worktop, jug of water and mixing bowl behind

The rest of the icing was kept in the mixer and one teaspoon
of red food dye was added to make the perfect pink colour!
This was rolled flat and the white centre part added.

A row of thick white fondant discs laid along a rolled-out sheet of pink fondant, ready to wrap

Here it is. Complete!
