We had a great gigle making the giant cookie. and the best thing was that it really did taste so yummy.

The making of the giant oatmeal and chocolate chip cookie.

Add the margarine and sugar together into a mixing bowl and mix together,

Pale creamed spread, sugar and egg mixture dripping from a wooden spoon back into the bowl

Mixi in the beaten egg and vanille flavouring

Bowl of sifted flour being weighed on kitchen scales, creamed mixture and a sieve behind

Now fold in the flour

Beating flour into the creamed mixture with a wooden spoon, the bowl steadied by hand

Mix in the oats and chocolate chips

Chocolate chips tipped from the bag into a bowl of oat-flecked cookie dough

Now put mixture onto a circle baking tray with very greasy grease proof paper.

Raw dough spread flat in a large parchment-lined round tin, ready for the oven

Put in the oven for 30mins until golden brown

The baked cookie filling an entire cooling rack on the granite worktop

Now eat and enjoy, best eaten worm, mmm yummy
