Cadbury's Creme Eggs — General Discussion

My girlfriend pointed me to this today and I thought I would share it with you guys.
I don't know how old or new this clip is, but since I only stumbled on to it today I am going to assume that it is fairly new.

It's about the sizes of Cadbury's Creme Eggs and the fact that they're getting smaller [Smile] Now, I have suspected this for the past couple of years but didn't have any previous eggs lying around to make a comparison. Fortunately, the guy in the clip does appear to have saved one from a few years back and check out the difference!

I knew it was not just myself growing bigger in comparison to the egg :p [Smile]

haha I saw this a few days ago. Americans are funny, they pronounce is 'Cad-berry'

What I find utterly ACE, is that we are result number 11 on google for 'creme egg'.

hmmmm i knew they where smaller and no one belived me. the other thing is there are far far less revels in a pack than there where.

My girlfriend bought sonme revels the other day and we nearly finished the packet in about 5minutes. Now either our appetites are extremely large or, as king pimp III suggests, the amount of revels in a packet has decreased somewhat!

It's a great marketing tactic isn't it? Take the creme egg. Lets say for fun that the old ones were 100g and cost 40p. Now, you still pay 40p for 70g creme eggs.

It's an amazing phenomenon that means you actually end up paying the same for less and less, meanwhile folks like Caburys are increasing their profits by stripping just a tiny bit off their chocolate year on year.

[Surprised] well that about takes the biscuit!!!!!!!!!! ok sure my stomach gets larger every year but.
i did happen to notice i could easily fit them into my mouth more easily every year...... either that or my mouth was growing.....

So img lad you guys found this out [Very Happy] and hopefully they will start getting bigger, which means guys and gals, we will start getting smaller [Very Happy]

I have noticed that a lot of sweets an choclate bars that i used to get as a kid aren't the same nowadays, they're either smaller or taste crappier lol. It's a shame though cos the prices are getting dearer an we're gettin ripped off!

im not going to buy any creme eggs till they are the size of my fist and cost 10p, come on cadbury's sort it out.

I think that someone ought to email cadburys with this clip attached and ask them to explain themselves.
We all new they were smaller for more money and now we have proof. [Laughing]

Awful news!

Cadberry is reducing the size of ALL its products <or so it seems to me!>

if you look at multi packs they do have five bars in, but when you open them... THEY ARE TINY!!!!

I cud eat all five and not feel full! i think pimp that snack warriors shud do something about it!

I really do think creme eggs are getting smaller and that video really proves the fact.

I have suspected this for s while now, for a number of products and not just creme eggs.

Please don't blame Cadbury's!
Only in America have the Creme Eggs got smaller. And this is because of Hershey's who are in charge of the Creme Eggs over there. Cadbury's Creme Eggs in the UK are the same size as ever - you are just getting bigger!

And as for Revels don't blame Cadbury's either because they aren't made by them.

Y'all shouldl respect Cadbury's because they make the nicest chocoalte in the world and as a woman I NEED it!
