What the original account establishes

These notes distinguish the recorded result from quantities or settings the contributor did not specify. Follow each source link to the original passage.

  • The base was digestives crushed and mixed with melted butter, without quantities, moulded and sculpted with petal edges, then left in the fridge for an hour. Two packets of toffees were shelled and melted with serious heat, poured over the base and set again in the fridge; one maker records that a finger in hot melted toffee means third-degree burns. The chocolate, melted in a pan, burnt into what the account calls concrete, the shops were shut and the project was smuggled away to a friend’s house, where the friend’s mum showed how chocolate melting is really done. The chocolate went on in sections, the last bar kept to cover everything and shape the waves with a palette knife, and the finished Toffee Pop was so hard that an electric carving knife was needed for the cross-section. The original account

For a true Bling Pimp to go with our Krystal no ordinary snack would do. We can’t dine on no common snack, we must have the rare imported Pimp – The Toffee Pop. The call went out to our London Homies and The Pops were picked up by one of their fine biatches.

Ingredients on the worktop: three packs of digestives, chocolate, dairy toffees and a packet of Toffee Pops

Phoenix (aka The Notorious P.I.G) and Katy (aka Sugar Cake Mama Mrs Large) went to the local Tesco’s in the Hood and picked up the pimpgrediants.
Sugar Cake Mama Mrs Large crushed the digestives whilst The Notorious P.I.G melted the butter.

These were mixed together and moulded to the shape that would become the legend that is The Toffee Pop Daddy. The Notorious P.I.G then sculpted the petal edges of The Pop Daddy. (In a hard and gangsta manner)

In her Gangsta Ho finest The Notorious P.I.G placed The Toffee Pop Daddy in the Fridge where it became even more cool.

We left The Daddy for an hour then shelled two packets of Toffees and blasted them with some serious heat. ‘Nuff said.

Once melted, we poured the Toffee onto The Daddy and placed it back in the fridge to set. (Sugar Cake Mama Mrs Large would like to mention at this point that putting finger into hot melted Toffee causes 3rd degree burns to finger and is not advisable)

We placed the chocolate into a pan to melt it. Unfortunately we burnt it, and despite several rescue attempts it had turned into concrete-like smegma. The chocolate had been assassinated, the shops were shut and it looked as though all was lost. The Notorious P.I.G’s limo driver had been waiting outside for too long and there was nothing left to do but smuggle The Toffee Pop Daddy passed the paparazzi into the night. The Toffee Pop Daddy would live to fight another day…

The Toffee Pop Daddy was taken into hiding at Big Dog’s Crib where Big Dog’s Mum (aka Grand Mama Flash) was on hand to show The Notorious P.I.G how real chocolate melting was done.

The melted chocolate was spread on in sections, we left the last bar until the end to completely cover The Pop and created the waves with a pallet knife.

The Toffee Pop Daddy was so hard that it required sawing with an electric carving knife for the cross section but The Brighton Massive won over in the end. True Dat.
