Does anyone else find it's texture mildly disturbing?
Go on, get a jar, poke around in it. It's vaguely reminiscient of Smoker's Lung.
Tastes bloody good though [Very Happy]

Nope!!!
I HATE MARMITE.....Do you drink the dregs out of the beer barrell at the end of the night?Do you collect all the empty glasses and attempt to pour all the left overs into one glass in a hope of making one pint? Marmite is the scum left over from making beer. Why have scum when you can drink the best bit???
I guess its a bit like eating a horse, ur eating the tough meat when ya shoudl have backed it in the race!lol

Philadelphia, marmite and cucumber. Great Combo.
also good is Marmite and Cheddar cheese.
When we were kids there was a marmite versus bovril war going on in our house. Bovril is totally minging.
Do the marmite haters out there like bovril on toast???

Ditto [Cool] The marmite ones can be horrible if there's too much marmite on them. But the worcshetehsire flavour ones are yummy.
Yet I went to a shopping place (*ahem*cough*Tesco*cough*ahem*) yesterday and they only had the marmite variety [Crying or Very sad] I was deeply upset.

random marmite fun fact.
put a dollop of marmite onto a plate (about a good spoon full).
take a fork and beat the marmite (lay fork flat so all prongs are on plate and do a good up and down motion)
in a few mins the marmite will be white.
amazing (tastes the same though)
why drunk m8 had to phone me at 2am to tell me this is another matter lol.

Ok here we go, toast one side of bread. Other side, spread peanut butter and top with chesse, toast. Once the cheese has melted, drizzle marmite on top. I've never tried this in my life but it sounds delicious enough to try it tonight (Friday night = late night watching Angel and eating junk food)

It isn't fantastically delicious, but it certainly isn't disgusting!

but strangely in my 16 year long life i have only ever eaten it on toast once. liked it though. i just cant ever be bothered to make some because for some reason people in my house (mum!!) keeps putting it in the fridge which turns it into a browner version of concrete.
