Pimp That Snack

Practically a Professor

    Hi guys [Smile]

I just thought I would let you all know that I sat my last exam (ever?) yesterday and so I effectively have a Physics Degree under my belt [Smile]

I am so overjoyed I cannot even begin to try to explain it. 4 years of study and it's finally all over - I have myself an MPhys It seems like it has been both instantaneous as well as taking an eternity... I just hope that my classification (be it a 2:1 or 2:2) can get me a career that pays well enough and I end up doing what I want to do. Which, as it turns out, probably wont be the field of Physics but we'll see.

I will get results for the exams I sat during this period (and overall results too I suppose) on June 29th. For those that are interested, I have had exam periods in January and June for the past 4 years, each consisting of around 5 exams (in total I have sat >40 ) and get the results a month or so after they've been taken. The results in June contain the January exam results too and give an overall percentage achieved for that year - just this time round it will contain an average of my 4 years and I'll know the classification I achieved

I guess that's all [Smile] Thanks.
Time to do nothing now for the next 6 weeks until Graduation on July 12th!

Physics, you INSANE person. A mate of mine works for CERN, he's currently in Switzerland working on the big bastard particle accelerator as part of his phD.

    In any case, congratulations [Smile]

6 weeks, however will you fill the time?

That must be awesome, working for/with/on/at the LHC. That was covered slightly in one of my modules and it's fascinating.

Is that a hint? [Wink] Plenty of time to pimp a snack of some kind. I'll see what my insane mind can come up with.

I know enough about this to know that LHC stands for something like Light Hydrogen Collider or something.

That's probably all wrong apart from Collider.

Large Hadron Collider, just looked it up, that's the bugger. So I was right! Right about how wrong I was, that is.

    Anyway..... [Smile]
