Life changes

I am heading off to university on Saturday and am absolutely terified!

This is particularly silly since I've been so desperate to go for such a long time. It doesn't help that mostly my friends are staying here and I feel somewhat left out.

On the other hand I have spent the day packing (and have shifted very little) which is hideously exciting if stressful!

Anyone else moving or changing schools, starting new jobs or generally undergoing life changing events?

Best of luck with it all! I know it's daunting at the start, but when you're there a wee while and settled down a bit, you'll just not want to come home! I've been left uni a couple of years now, but get up to my friends there as much as possible.

I'm currently waiting to see if I'm getting an interview for a job. The weird thing is it's for the job I'm actually doing! But they legally had to advertise it - so I've had to apply for my own job! If I am successful it'll change so much and allow me and my boyfriend to move on - houses, engagement!! [Very Happy]

Hmn ... yes. I have alreaddy gone through the moving experience as you well know. Not the best fun I've ever had I have to say and I'm still not quite over the worst yet. I'm still at the breaking down in tears stage on occassions but its getting better.

Well, bit different here I suppose since pretty much everyone's in the same boat.

My friend Olive just found out that she's no longer moving where she wants to (down the road from me). She's moving to a wee villiage a bit far out instead. She's a bit down - but it's only for one year then she's going down the uni road too!

Just to let people know that blueeyes has now successfully got to Newcastle Uni. I don't think she'll be on for a while, likely to be busy. Wish her luck [Very Happy]

I'm going off to uni soon too. Hopefully it will be a new start - my teenage years have certainly not been good, especially relationship-wise.
