Step five:

In this step you should shave the join, making it neat and tidy. I used a cold knife blade to shave without melting, and a hot blade to smooth the area.

The fully welded and shaved bar should look like the above, shown next to a girly four-finger kit kat for scale.

Step six:

Wrap it! I went for foil wrapped in paper for mine, as this traditional method was a lot simpler than the printed foil-backed plastic now in use.
