Once cool, we needed to trim the sides to create perfectly square edges. Then we piled it all together with a whole bowlful of cream in the middle, and added a lovely white blanket of icing on top.

The finishing touch was the pink stripes on the icing and there you have it. The Jumbo Angel Slice was born.

But did it taste good? OF COURSE! Mr. Kipling would be proud!
