Step 5:

Spoon the mix into a tray that has been neatly lined with grease proof paper (stops sticking and any nasty surprises). Level off and stick in the oven.

The whole process took about 30 minutes, but after a few attempts we got it down to a fine art and managed it in about 15. Leave on a medium heat for about 1 hr 40 minutes, sit down and watch some cartoons or something, whatever floats your boat).

Once again remember that there will be 2 different colours and we had to make it in 4 batches. To make the total cake it took about 8 Hours including cleanup, we would hire someone for this, but once again, we have no money Pete.

Step 6:

Finally glue separate pieces together using the Jam melted in a pan. Roll out the marzipan and cut to size. Once again use some melted jam to stick it to the sides of the sponge.

Godzilla sends his compliments to the chef, joins us for a natter and tells a rather humours joke about a man, a horse and a bucket of fish. Oh how we laughed …

Time to bake 8 hours
