Party Rings. Everyone's favourite party food. But what if you like to have giant parties? Then you need a Giant Party Ring.

You will need:
90g Butter
200g Plain Flour
100g Caster Sugar
1 Large Egg
Half Teaspoon Baking Powder
Half Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Half Teaspoon Salt
150g Icing Sugar
Red food colouring
Yellow food colouring

1. Chuck the butter and sugar together in a bowl and cream them until they go pale and look like a mousse. Then beat in the egg and vanilla. In a separate bowl mix the flour, baking powder and salt.

2. Mix the all of the ingredients together in one bowl and mix them about until they form a dough. If the dough looks too sticky add some flour until it's not so sticky.

3. Coat the dough ball in flour, wrap it up in foil and leave it in the fridge for at least an hour. We chose this moment to go up the pub.

4. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C or Gas Mark 4.

5. Find something large to cut around, we just used a plate. Roll the dough out, place the plate (or whatever) on top of the dough and cut around it with a sharp knife. Press an Ikea style cup down in the middle of the circle of dough to make the hole. Any excess dough can be used to spell rude words and make biscuits out of them, which we did, but didn't feel it appropriate to take any photos.
