Just saying the site's awesome :D

Avenrir Mon Aug 14, 2006 2:18 am #1 Looooong time lurker, here. I've yet to sign up because I'm insanely lazy and am supposed to be doing work instead of drooling at gigantic snacks. *laughs* It'll happen one day, though; this site has a lovely atmosphere about it.
I found Pimp That Snack when someone nudged me on MSN and went "Oi, you. There's a big bourbon at this site!" and lo and behold, I was standing before a behemoth bourbon cream and thinking I'd died and went to heaven. I also had a sudden urge to invent the "bring things from an image to life" machine, but alas, I lack the skills and imaginary components to do so.
It looked rather delicious all the same. :D
Don't ever stop pimpin', you masters of the chocolate arts. I'd really like to see a rum truffle at some point, and I'm certain my best friend would *love* to see a Secret Bar done. Though neither of us can remember what goes into them; just that they were very tasty. XD
*blathers and rambles on some more* Keep up the awesome work! -
blueeyes Mon Aug 14, 2006 12:44 pm #2 Oh you *definately* have to join up!
I do love those who ramble.
Can't *think* why that might be <looks around suspiciously> -
Avenrir Mon Aug 14, 2006 3:30 pm #3 Rambling is an artform that needs to be embraced by the millions. Where would we be without it, after all? If we weren't rambling on about huge snacks, would there be a Pimp That Snack? *laughs*
Okay, seriously, I've been throwing around the idea of signing up for several months, now. I feel like a stalker hovering above the forum in my blanket of semi-invisibility( though it is a rather nice blanket, might I add. Very snuggly. ), watching you guys have fun. XD
Perhaps when I get home and am on my own computer. :D -
blueeyes Mon Aug 14, 2006 3:32 pm #4 Go for it! -
beckly Mon Aug 14, 2006 6:46 pm #5 Oh please do. New faces are always welcome, even if they are semi-invisible. [Laughing]
I agree, where would I be without my rambling? -
PlacatedTurtle Mon Aug 14, 2006 7:43 pm #6 My posting of pointless things is far more entetaining than rambling.
well it would be if i posted here much, but i promise, on the other board i frequent, my posting of pointless things is worshipped.
who knows, if i really get involved in the community here i may start posting really pointless things like pics topics with things like bread swords and other such wonders that boredom can lead to. I often make pics topics with atleast 30 photos in.
also on another note, rambling is fun. -
Avenrir Tue Aug 15, 2006 12:51 am #7 Look at me, all registered, now. :D
PlacatedTurtle; I used to do the random stuff on forums years ago. I'm still quite partial to the odd *smack with a pork chop* or two( though I suppose in this case, I would substitute it for a KitKat Chunky ), but since I lost my web connection for a year due to chronic computer-explodey, it's been toned down a lot to mere rambling on and on. :D
And now, off I go to explore this vast and fertile land... -
beckly Tue Aug 15, 2006 3:48 pm #8 You lost your web connection for a year?! O you poor thing! I struggled to cope without my connection for the last 2 weeks (I was in the process of moving) I truly pity you -
Avenrir Tue Aug 15, 2006 4:56 pm #9 Yeah, I had major computer problems of the "shorting out all the electricity at 2am with a loud POP and a burning smell" kind.
Needless to say, I wasn't popular among the household for a while after that. XD -
beckly Wed Aug 16, 2006 10:09 am #10 Agh! Sounds scary [Confused] I would rather hate it if my computer did that to me. -
Avenrir Thu Aug 17, 2006 2:54 am #11 It was scary at the time, yeah. I'd just plugged it in, and the following events took place: *POP* ... *blackout!* ... *peculiar burning smell*
I managed to earn myself the reputation of being the electronics assassin amongst my family. Every time we have a powercut, they always ask me if I've been messing about with computers again. *laughs* -
beckly Sun Aug 20, 2006 8:51 pm #12 Ah I just manage to break EVERYTHING. It doesn't have to be electrical specificaly. I'm not as good as others though <points at Blueeyes> [Very Happy] You should tell them about the cheese knife. -
blueeyes Sun Aug 20, 2006 10:26 pm #13 It was blatantly the cheddar's fault!
The bath plugs I take responsibility for...
and the front door was the wind.
So there! -
PlacatedTurtle Sun Aug 20, 2006 11:00 pm #14 does everyone on here know each other?
i feel left out -
blueeyes Sun Aug 20, 2006 11:24 pm #15 I know only Beckly and Caffeine!
[Very Happy]
