Anyone remember and enjoy the maverick?
I used to love them - this was around 98 I got really into them. They were from Nestle - it was like a lion bar - with a similar manly name! - 'cept it had biscuit pieces and raisins in it!
'Twas a serious bar - my reason for diggin it was it had no nuts in it - which I hate - but was maxed out in all the other departments to make a busy bar.
I actually became an assistant confectionery buyer for a multiple two years after it was pulled, and found out it was horrendously under/mis-marketed.
SHAME!!!! [Sad]
Anone else remember and love the Maverick? [Razz]
certainly is the fellow. It was jsut a good example of a really really good product disappearing under the weight of a really static range of bars. Tough for these new fellows to break through.
that's got me thinking though. Maybe it's time for a giant Wham bar. or a Mojo!! I reckon penny sweets are the way to go.
Maybe I should just stop showing my age.

you reckon? I've got the tin and the know how now...
So - dark chocolate, pepperminty fondant cream, but would have to involve the original mintola design, not mint munchie - needs the retro stylee.
I'm looking but I'm not finding....
