Jeezus...

This advert is hugely annoying, I want to insert the ginger little *twonks* cereal spoon lengthways up his chirpy, bouncy annoying rectum.

It just comes on at the most innapropriate times.

Like last night... Watching the (enjoyable) show about the Curse Of The Omen on Channel 4...

"But the most horrifying and deadly secret is still to be revealed..."

*cuts to ad break all spooky with skulls, crows, graves and 666's*

So I'm feeling all "suspense".... Then on he comes!

"IT'S GONNA BE GREATTTTT!! IT'S GONNA BE GREATTTTT!!!"

I dunno I'd rather lose my cock and balls in a horrific agricultural accident involving an old, blunt rusty blade mounted on some sort of tractor and find my own penis in a ditch 2 miles away from the rest of my tackle than have to witness this annoying pleb again....

I've just watched this, and it confuses me like most advertising does.

Frankly, why don't adverts just say 'This is what we're selling, it does this, we think its good and it costs this much, please buy it' instead of all this crazy faddish nonsense with cheesy music, bright colours and grinning morons.

What gets me about this one is the statement 'They're going to taste great'.

'Going' to taste great? Shouldn't that be 'They DO taste great?'. If something is 'going' to taste great that sounds like you're not sure if they do or not, but you're assuming that they will. That isn't a basis for me to buy something.

At this point you might as well just say 'Here are some Frosties, you know what they taste like, they're nice, buy them. Ta'.

I'd response to direct advertising like that [Wink]

there are these random adverts which confuse you.. and then one comes on and says... "Go out and buy X it tastes fantastic. Trust me."

OMG don't get me started on this advert.
Last week whilst having a blinding migraine, my head was pounding big time, and all that was in my head, along with the pounding brain was this annoying song.

...and what totally random use of words that rhyme with 'great'. This is one to rival the wrigleys adverts which are supremely shite and an embarrassment to the company that makes them. (I feel better now)

One of my all time favourite ad quotes, just for the way the bloke was so smug when he replies was from a Wrigleys ad from years ago
