I'm getting in there first before anyone else does.

This pimp is utterly fantastic. Even though it was created with strumpet-related motives (which I can appreciate) this has to be the most impressive pimp I've seen. The whole thing is edible.

Even if not 100% homemade, I think this to be pretty damn ace. 10/10.

It's a shame the masts had wood in them!!

Breadsticks = answer [Smile] Although they're not sweet, they're sturdy and edible [Wink]

Besides that, the pimp was awesome A big thumbs up to them, definately. I'd love to provide a pimp to this website - I just need inspiration to hit.

As soon as my Uni exams are over, a pimp will be in order.

Is this just not a novelty birthday cake rather than a pimp?

novelty birthdays cakes require lots of work and must be a pimped form of cake - after all victoria sponge is pretty boring! Im really impressed, this must have taken alot of dedication!! i hope the stumpet was worth it!!

Yes, I had the same thoughts on this one too. Impressive none the less though.

I'm sticking with the view that it is a pimp of your standard 'cake'.

That is a sterling effort chaps.

    My thoughts too.
I'm not saying this is not impressive - it is cool (especially like the carried it through camden shot), however it is a cake, and not a pimped up version of a snack we all know and love. [Rolling Eyes] 10/10 for effort

Top effort - from a boring Madeira cake to that masterpiece! I may even try and recreate it for my Navy-boy brother's birthday! The green jelly and cannons added extra detail, which always catches my eye. [Super]

overrated! wouldn't care if this site were some random cakedesign site, but as far as I understood this site features massive homemade creations of well-known sweets. also, the cake wasn't even massive, enough for maybe 5 persons. although, I appreciate the skills of the dude but I really dont want this site to morph into some random cake place. first place should be owned by some real pimp with a monster bar or something

personally, I'm more impressed with the giant oreo, jammie dodger etc.

Well, I was impressed anyway and for my opinion I gave it a single vote of 10 - its up to everyone else to decide how they want to vote.

    The votes will decide!

Now my interpretation of the pimp is not just to create massive versions of chocolate bars etc, but to bling, pimp and recreate the snack of choice. Whether the bling/pimp/recreation involves making it bigger or making it better is for the individual to decide. In this instance, the cake was boring, but it was made mighty by its transformation into Nelson's Victory!
