Pimp That Snack

How Pimp That Snack started

For those of you wondering, here is how Pimp That Snack started. I've just updated the History section of the site to give some details, but below is the original message-board posting I made:

I today decided to retro-fit a KitKat Chunky Peanut Butter.

Is the peanut butter really so good, or does it pale in comparisson to normal peanut butter? I decided to find out.

Here we can see the broken kitkat shell with the original peanut butter present. Using my best skills, I scraped this away with a knife and replaced it with the finest butter Sainburys has to offer.

I then attempted to reconstruct the kitkat from memory (which is poor).

And then for a truely accurate comparisson, I put the KitKat's original peanut butter on a slice of toast to see how it compared.

    My Findings

The peanut butter supplied with the KitKat is inferior. The Sainsburys branded peanut butter inserted in its place was much tastier, creamier, and generally better. Conversely the Peanut Butter on the kitkat, when spread of toast, was not tasty at all.

I sincerely recommend we instead buy regularly KitKat Chunkys and merely stick a large dollop of home peanut butter on them instead.

    Thank you.

It's almost embarassing in scale to the pimps we've seen since, but hey, we all start somewhere

Everything starts with the chunky Kit Kat! My first ever pimp (before I knew what a pimp was) was at Uni when the chunky KitKat first came out. We all gotta start somewhere!

I've been eating these said chocolate bars for the past two days after buying them on my way to work and I'm a big fan in a sort of they're-nice-but-not-quite-as-nice-as-reese's-cups kind of way.

I have some skippy super chunk peanut butter (the king of peanut butter) which I shall apply to a kit kat chunky tomorrow (if I remember!)

Amazing scientific research! Two thumbs up, it's simple and delicious, just how I like it.

This calls for a Nobel Prize!
