    Hello fellow Snack Pimps!

What about some more old school pimps along the lines of 'Sweetshop Classics' like the cola bottle, and fizzy cherry pimps already on the site!

    What about:
Flying Saucers - imagine the sugar rush!
    Jelly Babies
    A massive Opal Fruit!
    Dolly Mixture
    Candy Sticks
The list could go on and on and on and on and on...

    Loving the classics.

Considered making giant jelly baby last week and only put that project to the side when the issue of where to find giant baby shaped mould arose....

Ooh didnt realise you could hire jelly moulds! Although the latter option is disturbingly tempting [Wink] Surely someone has a giant jelly baby in the pipeline by now though?

You would be buzzing like a popular rabbit-shaped ladies' relaxment article.

If people made several of these items and placed them in a gigantic paper bag, one could have a 10G Mix!

How about a giant cola cube?

Not sure how you'd go about eating it the small ones are quitr a mission. Perhaps you could make loads of them and pinapple cubes and make a wall out of them and have a licking wall a la Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...

Am hoping you're making them old skool with a soft centre... Always a dissapointment nowadays, a bit too hard on the teeth [Confused]

Me and the fiancee are embarking on our first pimp before everyone latches onto it after F Word tomorrow.

Thanks to this thread we've chosen Dolly Mixtures, and will make four 10x scale sweets. My other half has a fab paste concotion to make the sandwich and roll-up ones, and I'm in charge of the jelly tot and teddy bear.

Sadly my side isn't going terribly well, so I won't be able to upload this until tomorrow: my blackcurrant teddy has just fallen to bits. [Confused]

    I hope so.

The paste products look very good. Tomorrow will be mostly used in shopping for vast quantities of Hartley's jelly and making a very light sugar caramel that I can break up to make the sugar coating.

Yay!!! I have been pimping dolly mixture...unfortunately, only in my head...I was going to suggest it but thought it was a bit cheeky 'Oi Pimp Be-atchs, make dolly mixtures'. I'm not lazy, honest, just 8 months pregnant and have a toddler. Actually I've eaten so much sugar the baby may come out sugar coated, instant jelly baby with none of the fannying around with boiling sugar.
