    A good suggestion.

    Does anyone know how to successfully get air bubbles into chocolate? I've been thinking on this recently.

    you could have a whole tube of these saying stuff like:

    How about a Fruit pastil the size of a tractor tyre? would take a lot of gelatine and sugar! Lol [Very Happy] Hmm, on second thoughts, maybe a bit smaller than that so you can actually boil enough gelatine!

    OMG! It has to be a pimped pop-tart! Can you imagine the carnage and suffering if the molten centre of a pimped pop-tart were to escape? There could be a tragic repeat of vesuvius / pompei!! [Razz]

    Or buy lots of liquorish laces and wrap them up into a ball (like one of those elastic band balls)

    I think they could well blow air through the chocolate as it sets to gt bubbles. I don't know.

    Does anyone remember when they sold mini polos? As in the hole bit? Now that's the opposite of pimp my snack.

    don't know if it has already been suggested, but i haven't seen a Time Out been pimped yet. vastly underrated chocolate bar, especially the time out chunky which is sadly no longer available [Sad]

    was thinking along these lines meself, but if you want a good sugar mouse recipe, i have one. i wasn't going to make a huge one, wanted to make another more 'pimped' shape, but can't thik of anything yet. if you want the recipe, i'll share it [Very Happy]

    OK, I to have thought about this, I have come to a simple conclusion.
    Get an empty syringe, bear with me, and dip it into the melted choccy, push on squeezy thing and bobs your uncle, BUBBLES!!!!
    though most of them would be on the top, pluss the would pop. just basicly stir in bubbles.

    jey im making fruit pastile now just ones the size of footballs at the mo but if its successful then i have my eye on a rather large mould in tescos but i couldnt figure out how to boil all that gelatine at one i surrpose i could use all the hobs the oven and the microwave

    hey guys

    i didnt bother to read the whole thread, and dont know if you came up with a solution to the whole aero thing, but why not use hollow easter eggs inside the melted chocolate mix? you can get pretty small ones, which would do justice to the increased scale of a pimping perfectly.

    or even get a can of compressed oxygen and a straw, poke it randomly inside the chocolate mix (going from bottom to top) and use it to blow bubbles inside the chocolate.

    i can believe i made an account just to tell you guys that.

    ps: great work on the pimped snacks everyone. hilarious stuff!
