The Innocent Smoothie Review — General Discussion

I innocent smoothies.

I am a member if the innocent family (join the innocent family on their website - it's totally free - no catch). I get an email from them once a week (it's good to stay in touch with your family), and they send me nice stuff too. Last Christmas they sent me a little tree - which I subsequently planted on a farm in South Wales. The tree likes it very much there, although was a little wary of the sheep to begin with. They also came to my workplace and delivered 3 boxes of lovely detox smoothie for me and my colleagues to enjoy (although some of the boys didn't like the taste of the lemon, ginger and honey detox smoothie - but what do boy's know anyway?).
What do I do in return?
Well, I buy their smoothies, rave about their smoothies, dream about their smoothies.
I also make them mini knitted hats for their supergran charity (again see the website for details).
Like Pimpdaddy, I like the innocent branding, ethos, and general silliness. These are my kind of people

You might think I work for innocent with this review. I really don't. Their smoothies are just the best, and when you have tried one, you will never buy any other inferior brand again.
For those of you interested in where I work, I actually work for the LEGO company. Our product is not as tasty as an innocent smoothie, but Richard Hammond likes it, so it's good enough for me!

Don't worry Pesky
They have simple knitting instructions on there too. I can knit, but i still found this useful - sometimes you forget how to do it!

seriously, my mum tried to teach me about 80 times. i'm just not dextrous enough

if i had to stick it with copydex, i'm sure it'd be fine

You have 'Innocent' smoothies, we have 'Nudie' smoothies here! Very similar packaging, same sort of detailed breakdown of ingredients, ie, 'the yogurt, vanilla bean, honey and more' nudie with 1/2 a pressed apple (22.49%) and 'a brief encounter with the vanilla bean (0.01%). Are the innocent and the nudie one and the same??? The nudie website http://www.nudie.com.au/index.htm. Oh yeah, Nudie's are very cool too so even an Innocent addict wont need to do cold turkey (or warm smoothie??) when they come to Oz!!

The link to the nudie website (in the post above) doesn't work, but you just need to remove the full stop at the end.
I don't think innocent make nudie smoothies though...

I like the name, it sounds quite rude. rudie nudie! [Razz]

Sorry, PD!! Thought it was great (or i wouldnt have read it and noticed the similarities between innocents and nudies!!). Just wanted to advertise the antipodean version to you lot over there. Will be emailing the Nudie team shortly to tell them why i think that the place i work at deserves to have a truckload of free nudies (now that DOES sound rude!!) delivered to a bunch of hardworking and underpaid scientists who sadly dont get a chance to research the delights of the Nudie. Still working on how i can try and persuade my boss to incorporate them into our research as our group's focus is nutrition and metabolism in preventing heart disease!!
