I feel it is time to call it a day. Pimp that snack has lost its way. The once mighty trail Blazer of Pimpage has now become nothing but www.Ibakedabigbiscuit.com. The latest bout of Pimps are awful. Unless people come up with something other than big cookies, muffins, burgers and the worst Pimp of them all the McDonalds Pizza then I fear the site is doomed. C'mon lets get back to the glory days of Colossus cola bottle, custard cream dream and the legendary fruitpastille lolly.
We want to see adventure, cunning and a little thought. Not just oooo lets make a big sponge cake and call it a pimp. [Evil or Very Mad]
For you guys who make the great Pimps - Keep it up. For the rest, you need to up your game

I've taken the liberty of changing one of your responses to just 'No' to make the answers less leading. I'll quite happily take opinions on the more recent pimps but bear in mind all I can do is put up the ones I receive.
Bad pimps are fine - it's why we have a voting system. I could just not put up all the pimps I think are poor but what's the point in that? If someone has made the effort it deserves to go up and I'll let the public decide how good or bad it is.
You can't expect absurdly complicated and impressive pimps every single day, and I think things like the Mcdonalds pizza are ridiculously amusing.
Part of the trouble is that some of the more obvious ones have already been done, so more imagination needs to be tapped.
well said PD, i would like to ask if the complainer has ever submitted his own pimp? its very easy to judge when you dont join in! and if you have made one, whats to say noone thinks your is rubbish??!!

The McDonalds pizza is in the true spirit of pimping. It was funny and silly and fabulous! Anyway, there are still loads of new things coming in and going straight into the top twenty!
I reiterate everything that has been said here and would like to add that the main thing about pimping is having fun.
Like pop music today it is all being taken far too seriously, let it be the way it was in the 70's when it was all about dressing up and entertaining - so be it here.
The effort people put in to a pimp, be it big, small or whatever, deserves to be recognised and fair play to them for making the effort - which is more than the person making the complaint has done I'm sure - judging by his ONE post [Mad]

i agree i think that pimping is just not making it big. i love to read the new ones however rubbish some may be or easy. its fun and one day i will eventually get round to doing something when i have a camera handy hopefully for my friends amazing tank cake i have planned. [Very Happy]

In answer to Vix83. No we have not yet submitted a pimp as it is a little hard to pop down to the local Asda when you are bouncing around in the North Sea defending the interests of the UK and the free world. However look out for our planned projects of the pimped "Cheesy Hammy Eggy" and the Stalwart Steak and Kidney pudding. [Twisted Evil]

Aside from keeping the world safe, I think it's unbelievably cool that you have internet while at sea. How did you hear about the site? I remember doing something for the British Forces radio a while back [Smile]
No via a satellite link. We get allocated so much of the satellites bandwidth and away we go. We obviously have to have large satellite dishes on the ship but these are gyro stabilised and track the satellite as we move around. Top system

i don't think the pimps are any worse than they were to start with (i remember pimp daddy's creme egg disaster with affection) and let's be honest, the fruit pastile lolly wasn't THAT long ago was it?
