Hi!! Just to say thanks to all of you who have voted for my pimp in the last 24hrs and to say that it was SOOO much fun to make and then to write about. You have no idea how wonderful it was to have an excuse NOT to clean up my (slumlike) kitchen and to have an excuse to make even MORE mess!!!! Oh yeah, and thanks to my UK mate Debs without whom, (due to our halfway-round-the-world MSN convo's) i'd would still be in total ignorance of the joy of snack pimping, cheers Debs!!!

My Dad's long lost brother (seriously) lives not that far from Sydney and that's part of the reason they're there. They're only there for another few weeks though. They'd better come back! I shall be cross if they don't.

Ozzie immigration will ensure that your parents return in one piece, believe me!!! Trying to get residency in this country is a nightmare....
That said, i am currently feeling a tad homesick as my daughter has just been to visit (and yep, afraid another mother/daughter pimp on its way in the next couple of weeks... watch this space!!) and like you, told me how much she missses her mum since she got back... ouch, OUCH!!!!
One of the sadest moments in my life, watching my parents drive away leaving me in Newcastle. Knowing I wouldn't see them for another ten weeks or so didn't help!
