What's up with iTunes?

Just downloaded the latest version of iTunes, thought it might solve my problems of long download times for Podcasts - but no, it hasn't! It's just made it worse. It said it would take 7 hours to download one. Is this just my iTunes or is anyone else having similar problems?

the i tunes software is so bad i cant belive its by apple, anyways you may need to config your ports for faster downloads if you are behind a software firewall, do a google search for slow i tunes downloads and you should find a tec forum that will give the correct settings, or use a torent client like bit lord to search for your downloads then just drag and drop into i tunes once down loaded much faster and a huge amount of i pod movies and tv shows there to.

if you can't fix it start downloading them in the evening so they will be ready in the morning

The world will be a better place when Google starts making hardware.

I've had my fair share of trouble with companies. One of which being Apple and more specifically iTunes. I had to do a system restore to get everything working properly again.

My library stayed put after I upgraded. Have you considered posting on the Apple support forums?

My iTunes seems to have sorted itself out now - it downloaded the podcast eventually in about ten minutes with no complaining.

ah i think what happened was that i unplugged my external hard drive BEFORE i closed itunes, which meant it saved a blank lbrary, so it was my fault

still takes ages to import a cd though
