Firstly Melt down the chocolate resisting the temptation to eat it (which is just too hard!!)

Melted chocolate stirred smooth with a spoon in a brown glass mixing bowl

Next start making the coating for the large eggs to make them look like mini eggs, mix the icing sugar with a little bit of water and the food colouring they need lots so make it nice and thick!! then put them in the fridge to set should take about 1 to 2 hours.

Adding red food colouring to a bowl of white icing beside two unwrapped Easter egg halves

Once the chocolate is melted start mixing in the rice crispies make sure that its not tooooooo chocolately which would taste amazing but take a bout 3 days to set! once this is done put greasepoof paper into a large bowl an put the mixture in, put a smaller bowl in the middle to make the nest part then put in the fridge to set should take about 1 to 2 hours

Worktop with a big bowl of chocolate-coated crispie mixture, icing bowls and a half-iced egg

Hands pressing baking parchment down into a tin to line it for the nest

Once they have set take some drinking chocolate powder and lightly dust the eggs to give them that speckled look, take the nest out the bowl put it on a plate remove the small bowl put the eggs in and bangarang you’re done!!
