Firstly, I'd like to clarify what the Smartprice challenge actually IS.
It's 8 o'clock, you and your mates are bored, and you have about £6 between you. You drive to Asda and you buy as much stuff as you can for the little money you have, hence THE SMARTPRICE CHALLENGE!
Back to the Pimp
Ingredients:
Smartprice Mince - 1.5 kg
Smartprice Cheese - 10 slices
Onion 1
Smartprice Bread loaves - 1
British Little Gem Lettuce - 1
Cost: A whopping £4.06
That's actually enough for one mega burger, but we made two (foolishly)
Method
Fry up mince until brown.
Add onion.
Squish into burger shaped thing (use bread for size).
Put in the oven at 200 c for 10-15 minutes.
While that is cooking, spice bread and lay down a layer of lettuce on the bottom half. Cook bacon.
