Bad Day :(
A very bad day today, the gf and I had to put our sweet little doggy to sleep this morning. He was 15 and has suffered from a heart condition for the last two years. 4 different types of tablets, 3 times a day has kept him in good health, but we always knew there’d come a time when they stopped working.
Very, very sad
For the purposes of this blog I need to declare that, given the upset, budget eating wasn’t really on the cards today, and the gf and I went out to pizza express to cheer ourselves up. The cost, of course, was far beyond any budget but I’m not counting it towards the total. You can’t adhere to little projects like this in times of woe.
G’bye my little doggy, I’ll miss you x

Oh…so sad to hear that… the loss of a pet is far underrated by those who haven’t experienced it.. but 15 is a high age for a dog none the less, and there comes a time when you have to think of the animal, and not yourself…(I don’t have a dog, but pet ferrets…I know how it hurts)…
And I fully understand and respect how the budget wasn’t the first thing on your mind…
RIP little doggie…

Sad times!
How upsetting but times like these are inevitable aren’t they. We used to have a dog, but she had to be put down for cancer in her legs if I remember correctly, way back in ‘96. I can’t believe it’s been 12 years but I still remember her
Are you thinking about another pet to fill the space (or does pizza fill the hole nicely? hehe :)).
Your dog looks sweet. What breed was he?

Hey man, I’m really sorry about your dog. We had to put our English Mastiff down last fall and I thought my heart would rip out of my chest.
Though it’s really difficult now, believe me, it will get better with time. Just keep hanging in there.
