I totally agree with your idea that 3 meals a day is merely a social convention and not a nutritional requirement for life. I cannot remember the last time I ate a meal that I created thinking it's time for (insert meal name here).

I'm slightly worried about the previous posting from kerry re: the kebab idea. What size of peas does she have if they're big enough to skewar!!! Maybe she's grown giant alien hybrid peas and is keeping them all to herself? If that is the case then what else if she harbouring in her kitchen cupboards - inflated marchmallows or stupendously enormous popcorn? You should check her out - she may be able to provide you with supplies that would keep your cupboards filled for months.....and thats just the veg for starters!

Boil pasta til cooked.
Cut up some chicken and fry til cooked.
Put pasta and chicken in a pot with some creme freche and water.
Add frozen peas and heat until peas are cooked.
Add a splash of worcester sauce.
Serve.

Yum! It's a filling meal for a fairly cheap price and its easy to do :)

Loads of ideas :)

I just had chicken breast tonight...
Lightly fry the chicken breasts (not all the way through), put them in a dish that can go in the oven, fry up some vegies (I used onions, peppers and mushrooms and added a bit of ketchup, you could use some of the pasta sauce) and added cream or milk (cream makes it a bit thicker) poor the sauce on top of the chicken breasts and whack it in the oven at about 200 degrees for half an hour... eat it with rice...yummy! (Even my boyfriend liked it!) Cheap eating and nice enough to serve to guests...

skin the sausages and use the sausage meat with the peppers/peas(?)/any other veg you have lying around to make kebabs you can griddle/stick under the grill/in a frying pan

Chicken - obviously you can cut it up and fry it or you can steam it or poach it (sounds boring but steamed/poached chicken is SO tasty) and have with other 'stuff'

Do you have any stuffing? You could always cut open chicken breast, put stuffing in, put back together, whack a couple of strips of bacon around the outside and cook in oven - like a miniature 'roast'! (it's lovely) and could have with rice/peas

spanish omlette? fritatta?yorkshire pudding? pancakes?
